Jacari White scored a team-high 19 points off the bench, including a 5-for-9 showing from 3-point range, to help No. 15 UVa come back to beat Florida State 61-58 on the road. The Cavaliers trailed for most of the game but used an 11-2 run over the final 5:53 to take the lead for good and extend their winning streak to five games.
Why it matters
This was an important ACC road win for the 15th-ranked Cavaliers, who are looking to solidify their position in the conference standings and NCAA Tournament picture. Florida State had won three straight games coming into this matchup, so UVa's ability to rally and pull out the victory on the Seminoles' home court is a strong sign of the team's resilience and determination.
The details

White hit 5 of his 9 3-point attempts and also had a key transition dunk in the final minute to give the Cavaliers their first lead of the game. Thijs De Ridder added 9 points and 9 rebounds, while Sam Lewis also scored 9 points for UVa. Florida State got 21 points from Lajae Jones and 20 from Robert McCray but shot just 29% from the field and 18% from 3-point range.
