Daher Aircraft's TBM 980 turboprop airplane has been certified by Brazil's ANAC airworthiness authority, clearing the way for deliveries of the latest TBM model to owners and operators in Brazil and the surrounding region. The TBM 980 features Garmin's third-generation G3000 PRIME avionics suite and cabin comfort enhancements, and is the sixth TBM 900-series variant developed since Daher acquired the program in 2014.

Why it matters

The TBM 980 is well-suited for the Brazilian market, combining operating efficiency with near jet-like speeds and excellent range that enables point-to-point flights across Brazil and South America. Daher has a long-term commitment to the Brazilian market, underscored by the company's 2025 creation of a permanent operation in São Paulo to support growing demand for the TBM and Kodiak aircraft.
