First Nonstop Charter Flight from Japan Lands in Orlando

A nonstop charter flight from Tokyo on Japanese low-cost airline ZIPAIR Tokyo Inc. touched down at Orlando International Airport, marking the first direct commercial flight between Florida and the Asia Pacific region. The 280 passengers included many "Disney enthusiasts" and the flight was greeted with a water salute and live music.

The details
The ZIPAIR flight was one of four charter flights scheduled between February and March 2026 as part of an announcement made in October 2025. The flights included exclusive promotions offered by Disney Destinations International. As of February 26, all but one of the flights were booked, with one-way flights from Orlando to Tokyo available starting around $325.
