HEICO Corporation has announced the acquisition of an 80% stake in Sherwood Avionics and Accessories, Inc., a Florida-based FAA and EASA Part 145-certified repair station specializing in complex mechanical and electro-mechanical component MRO for defense and select commercial aviation platforms.

Sherwood Avionics provides OEM-authorized distribution, engineering support, and manufacturing services for a broad range of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, including platforms such as the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, Boeing CH-47 Chinook, McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, and Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk. The company operates from two facilities spanning approximately 70,000 square feet and employs around 150 personnel.
