Daughtry earned MVP honors at the Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions in January after leading Calvary Christian Academy to a win over top-ranked Paul VI. For the season, he averaged 26.5 points, 5.2 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game, shooting 54.5% from the field, 36.8% from 3-point range and 86.1% from the free throw line. In the Class 3A state championship game, Daughtry led his team to an 87-51 victory over The Villages Charter, scoring 30 points with 8 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals.
