Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez and Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz announced the implementation of the SAFE designation on motor vehicle registrations, a new voluntary program that allows individuals or their guardians to indicate on their vehicle registration if the driver or passenger may have a condition that could affect communication or interaction during an emergency or traffic stop.
