The Miami Hurricanes have surged into the Top 10 in the Rivals Industry team recruiting rankings, jumping up six spots from No. 13 to No. 7 after landing a commitment from top-100 wide receiver Nick Lennear. Miami now has five commits in its 2027 recruiting class, including Lennear, who is ranked as the No. 6 wide receiver and No. 26 overall prospect nationally.
Why it matters
Miami's rise in the recruiting rankings demonstrates the impact of head coach Mario Cristobal's efforts to rebuild the Hurricanes' program and attract top talent from the talent-rich South Florida region.
