The Varsity 4 News4JAX Super 6 boys lacrosse rankings have been released, with Ponte Vedra, Bolles, and Episcopal leading the first set of rankings. Ponte Vedra and Bolles have both recorded notable wins to start the season, while Episcopal is looking to rebuild after losing a lot of scoring from last year's 19-4 team.

Why it matters

The Super 6 rankings provide an early look at the top boys lacrosse teams in the Jacksonville area, setting the stage for what is expected to be a competitive season. These rankings will be closely watched by fans and players as they track the progress of their favorite teams throughout the year.

The details

Ponte Vedra, the 2A state runner-up last season, has started strong with wins over Fletcher (20-0) and Gulf Breeze (9-4). The Sharks will face a challenging schedule that includes games against Jupiter, Saint Andrew's, Winter Park, Bishop Moore, and Pensacola Catholic, as well as out-of-state matchups. Bolles has also had an impressive start, beating playoff teams Buchholz and Cardinal Mooney. Episcopal lost a lot of scoring from last year's 19-4 team but is led by returning scorer Robert Adams. Fletcher, the best public school team in Duval County, had a big win over Gulf Breeze but was also routed by Ponte Vedra. Creekside, Bartram Trail, and Tocoi Creek are also teams to watch in the region.

Fletcher

The best public school team in Duval County, the Senators had a big win over Gulf Breeze but were routed by Ponte Vedra.
