Men's 4x400m relay team breaks school record at NAIA championships

The LC State Track and Field team opened the 2026 NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships with strong performances in the men's 4x400m relay and women's 4x800m relay. The men's 4x400m relay team set a new school record with a time of 3:15.78, finishing 15th overall. The women's 4x800m relay team also placed 15th and recorded the fourth-best time in program history.

The women's 4x800m relay team of Nuala Rollins, Damaris Kibiwot, Grace Tiegs and Camille Ussher placed 15th and entered the record book with the fourth-best time in school history.

LC State will send five individuals onto the track for preliminary races on Friday, including Madigan Kelly in the 60m hurdles, Emily Collins in the 600m, Jedidiah Barnaby in the 60m dash, Camille Ussher in the 800m, and Kobe Wessels in the 1000m.
