The News-Press, in collaboration with Lee County high school principals and their staffs, are putting outstanding students in the spotlight. Readers can vote for the Lee County Student of the Week for March 9, with the voting period open from March 9 through March 12.

The nominees include Dylan Rivera, a senior at North Fort Myers High School with a 5.40 GPA who excels in academics, the arts, and community service; Max Evans, a 9th grader at Ida S. Baker High School known for his STEM expertise and positive spirit; and Isabella Diaz, an Ida S. Baker High School student who has maintained a 3.93 unweighted GPA while completing a rigorous AICE curriculum and serving as a leader in sports, student government, and community volunteering.
