Spectrum, the connectivity and entertainment company, has announced a new multi-year partnership with Spire Motorsports and NASCAR Cup Series driver Carson Hocevar. Spectrum will be the primary sponsor of Hocevar's No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro for multiple races in the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season, starting with the 68th running of the Daytona 500.
Why it matters
The partnership aligns Spectrum's brand with the speed, passion, and innovation of NASCAR, allowing the company to connect with the sport's dedicated fan base. It also marks a full-circle moment for Hocevar, who was sponsored by Spectrum in his early racing days, and now gets to represent the brand at the highest level of stock car racing.
The details
As part of the multi-year deal, Hocevar's No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro will feature the Spectrum branding and colors at 13 NASCAR Cup Series races in 2026, including the season-opening Daytona 500. The partnership will also see Spectrum leverage its Seamless Connectivity and Entertainment services to help fans follow the races, whether they're watching at home or on the go.
- The 68th running of the Daytona 500 will take place on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
- Spectrum's partnership with Spire Motorsports and Carson Hocevar will span the entire 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Carson Hocevar
A 23-year-old NASCAR Cup Series driver who was named the 2024 Rookie of the Year and is entering his third season in the top series.
Spire Motorsports

What they’re saying
“NASCAR is built on speed, passion and innovation — and that spirit aligns perfectly with what we deliver every day at Spectrum as America's Connectivity Company.”
— Sharon Peters, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Spectrum
“Spectrum is a blue chip, iconic American brand that we know resonates with the NASCAR fan base. This is a high-energy partnership to roll out, beginning with the Daytona 500. Carson is one of the most talented drivers across the sport, so I'm not sure we could have found a more perfect fit.”
— Jeff Dickerson, Spire Motorsports Co-owner
“It's really cool to have Spectrum on our No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro. It's truly a full circle deal. Spectrum was on my quarter midget cars and late models growing up. My dad made a deal to put their logos on my race cars in exchange for local commercials for his coin and jewelry store. It's surreal to reflect on that time and think now I'm racing on Sundays, going into my third season in the Cup Series with Spectrum as a key partner.”
— Carson Hocevar
What’s next
The 68th running of the Daytona 500 will be televised live on FOX on Sunday, February 15, 2026, marking the start of Spectrum's multi-year partnership with Spire Motorsports and Carson Hocevar.
The takeaway
This partnership showcases Spectrum's commitment to supporting the NASCAR community and connecting with its passionate fan base. It also represents a homecoming for Carson Hocevar, who is reunited with a brand that supported his early racing career, as he embarks on his third season in the NASCAR Cup Series.
