The Marjory Stoneman Douglas baseball team played in three games this week, picking up two wins and suffering their first loss of the season. The team had a come-from-behind victory against West Orange High School and a dominant 10-0 win over Neumann High School, but fell to Christopher Columbus High School 4-3.

In the win over West Orange, the Eagles fell behind 5-2 before rallying with two runs in the fifth inning and two more in the sixth to reclaim the lead. Against Neumann, pitcher Gio Rojas struck out 11 batters over 4.2 perfect innings, and the team carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning. In the loss to Christopher Columbus, the Eagles fell behind 4-0 but rallied for three runs in the fifth inning, leaving the bases loaded, and had runners on first and third in the seventh but a baserunning mistake led to the final out.
