The impact sent vehicles spinning across the highway, with the Honda Ridgeline continuing its path and hitting a Honda CR-V before coming to a rest. The Jeep Wagoneer was redirected across the lanes, sideswiping a Hyundai Tucson before colliding with the back of a Jeep Cherokee that was carrying an electric mobility scooter. The 69-year-old driver of the Honda Ridgeline was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver and three passengers of the Wagoneer, as well as a woman and child in the Honda CR-V, suffered 'incapacitating' injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
