The League of Women Voters of Miami-Dade County will host its annual "2026 Women Who Shine" awards brunch on March 21, 2026, honoring women whose leadership, service, and civic commitment have strengthened the Miami-Dade community. This year's honorees include a business innovator, an under-40 community advocate, a philanthropist, and a lifetime achievement recipient.

(Outstanding Under 40); Amanda Altman, CEO of Kristi House (Philanthropy / Humanitarian); and Shamele Jenkins, CEO of the Miami-Dade County Foster & Adoptive Parent Association (Lifetime Achievement).
