The lineup includes programs highlighting Black women's role in the American Revolution, New Sweden Day festivities, a look at the lives of Delaware's founding fathers, and a glimpse into colonial life during the Revolutionary War. The celebrations will culminate in a black-tie gala at the historic Hotel du Pont in Wilmington.

The spring lineup of America 250 events in Delaware includes: A program highlighting how Black women were inspired by the American Revolution to create social movements, presented by the Delaware Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society; New Sweden Day festivities featuring living history demonstrations, cannon blasts, and music at Fort Christina; a talk on the lives of Delaware's founding fathers by the Delaware Society of the Sons of the American Revolution; and an exploration of colonial life during the Revolutionary War by the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs.
