The Garde Arts Center and the Jewish Film Festival of Eastern Connecticut will present the acclaimed documentary "Holding Liat" on Sunday, March 22 at 3 p.m. The screening will be followed by a live discussion featuring producer Lance Kramer and Yehuda Beinin, whose daughter Liat was kidnapped during the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attacks. U.S. Representative Joe Courtney, who was involved in efforts to secure Liat's release, will introduce the film.
