Cronin began the weekend with a one-inning save to secure the sweep of No. 20 Illinois Wesleyan and then threw five, one-unearned innings in Simpson's 8–6 win over Eau Claire. Obleton led the offense from the hot corner, going 5-for-11 with four RBIs, four stolen bases and one double.
