No. 5 Pima Improves to 22-0 After Defeating Glendale

The Pima Community College men's basketball team improved to 22-0 overall and 11-0 in the ACCAC with an 83-71 win over Glendale on Wednesday night. Pima distanced itself from Glendale with scoring runs in the second half, led by former Pueblo standout Isaiah Hill's team-high 22 points. The Aztecs have now won 23 straight games dating back to last year's third-place game in the NJCAA Division II tournament.

Pima and Glendale were tied at 47-47 with 16:47 left in the second half, but the Aztecs went on a 14-0 run to pull away. Isaiah Hill scored seven points during that stretch, and Pima never lost its double-digit advantage for the rest of the game. Hill finished with a team-high 22 points, falling just short of a triple-double with 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Mason Hunt also had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
