The high school girls swimmers and divers around Colorado will compete in the state championships this week and next week. Broomfield, ranked No. 1 in Class 4A, has 30 entries and is in an excellent position to win the team title. The Eagles have swimmers ranked at the top in several individual events and relays. Other top swimmers from the Boulder and Broomfield area include Lorelai Frauenfelder of Holy Family in Class 3A and Hazel Huilman of Boulder and Lexi Byrn of Fairview in Class 5A.
