Next month, the iconic Sports Castle in Denver will be transformed into a three-floor stage for Crossroads: The Journey of Rebecoming, a bold new theatrical experience that invites audiences to step inside the foster care journey. Inspired by the Emmy® Award-winning documentary Rebecoming Me, Crossroads expands the film's themes into a live theatrical experience, shining a light on the realities facing youth navigating the foster care system.

Why it matters

The production is presented by Cobbled Streets, a Denver nonprofit working to ensure youth in foster and kinship care experience a childhood filled with opportunity, belonging, and connection. Crossroads was developed in collaboration with Jeff Campbell of Denver's Emancipation Theater Company, known for bold, socially-driven work that invites audiences to engage with complex issues through storytelling.

The details

The audience will move through the historic Sports Castle, encountering actors, scenes, and characters along the way, witnessing pivotal moments in the story about resilience, identity, and the search for belonging.
