Vail Resorts to Bring My Epic Gear Experience to All Rentals

Vail Resorts announced plans to integrate the best features from its My Epic Gear® program into traditional gear rentals across its portfolio of mountain destinations and ski hills. This multi-year effort will allow anyone renting Demo skis or snowboards to pick their model from a wide selection online and access premium gear technologies like BOA® ski boots. The company will also drop the My Epic Gear membership fee and maintain gear rental pricing.

Starting next season, guests who book high-performance Demo rentals at 12 participating Vail Resorts locations will receive the curated My Epic Gear experience without the $50 membership fee. This includes selecting their preferred ski or snowboard model online from a large selection of the latest gear, as well as access to premium technologies like BOA® ski boots and Step On® bindings. By the 2027/28 season, these features will roll out to all rental gear across Vail Resorts' properties.
