The Boulder Junior Cycling (BLC) Bike Swap is returning on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Boulder Elks Lodge. The free event is open to the public and allows the buying and selling of used kids and adult cycling gear, including bikes, components, and accessories.

Why it matters

The bike swap provides an affordable way for families to upgrade their cycling equipment as kids grow and needs change. It also promotes sustainability by keeping usable gear out of landfills and in circulation within the local community.

The details

Commonly sold items at the swap include road bikes, mountain bikes, kids bikes, cruisers, shocks, wheels, components, bike shoes, pedals, helmets, pumps, bike packs, jerseys, tools, and bike racks. All items must be in good to excellent condition, and clothing must be no more than five years old. Sellers have the option to either donate their gear to BJC or sell it on consignment.

  • The bike swap will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sellers can drop off their gear on Saturday, March 28, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. or on Sunday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
