Fairview's girls swimming team finished second at the Class 5A state meet, led by junior Lexi Byrn's victory in the 100-yard butterfly. Fairview junior Lexi Byrn won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.26 seconds, edging out reigning champion Hazel Huilman of Boulder (54.34). Byrn also helped Fairview's 200 medley relay team finish second (1:44.31) and took bronze medals in the 100 backstroke (56.25) and 400 freestyle relay (3:30.98). Other top finishers for Fairview included Marin DeNeen (second in 200 IM, sixth in 100 breaststroke), Callie Marks (second in 500 freestyle), Ava Teunnisen (fourth in 100 backstroke), and Rachel Lev-Tov (fifth in 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly).
