Another rising class of 2027 prospect, defensive tackle Kenny Fairley, has announced plans to visit the Colorado Buffaloes from June 5-7. Fairley, an unranked recruit, has received offers from Colorado, Purdue, Tulane and other FBS programs this month. The 6-foot-1, 280-pound prospect from Fairburn, Georgia, is known for his competitiveness, physicality and leadership on the field.
Why it matters
Colorado's defensive line struggled last season, recording only 13 sacks. The Buffaloes are hoping to bolster their defensive front with a talented group of incoming transfers, and landing a commitment from Fairley would be a major recruiting win for Coach Deion Sanders and his staff.
The details
Fairley told BuffStampede.com that he prides himself on his competitiveness and consistency, bringing the same level of intensity and focus every play. As a junior at Creekside High School, he totaled 68 tackles while helping the Seminoles to a Class 4A state championship. Colorado graduate assistant Dante' Carter offered Fairley, and the Buffaloes will look to impress him during his upcoming visit.
