The Vegas Golden Knights jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first period and held on for a 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday. The win snaps a five-game losing streak for the Golden Knights and sends them into the Olympic break on a high note.

The details
The Golden Knights scored four goals in the first period to take control of the game. Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, Pavel Dorofeyev, and Mitch Marner all found the back of the net for Vegas. The Kings finally got on the board late in the first when Trevor Moore scored, but they were unable to mount a comeback despite outshooting the Golden Knights 22-12 over the final two periods. Goaltender Adin Hill was stellar for Vegas, stopping 30 of 31 shots.
