The Museum of Sonoma County is hosting an evening of readings and conversation featuring African American writers from across Sonoma County, reflecting on the museum's exhibit 'Take Me to the Water: Histories of the Black Pacific.' Dutcher Crossing Winery is debuting a new quarterly book club called Sips & Stories that pairs wine with thematic literary discussions. Fly Story Slam, a live storytelling event, is hosting a special Valentine's edition with the theme of 'Connections'.

The Museum of Sonoma County event on Feb. 21 will feature local writers Joanna Wheeldin, Enid Pickett, Dr. Andrea Hall, Morris 'Abashe' Turner and N'game' Gray discussing the museum's 'Take Me to the Water: Histories of the Black Pacific' exhibit. Dutcher Crossing Winery's new Sips & Stories book club debuts on Feb. 26 with a discussion of the book 'The Widow Clicquot.' Fly Story Slam's Valentine's edition on Feb. 13 at Boomerang Lounge in Mill Valley will feature true, personal stories told by Bay Area storytellers.
