Three winning U.S. teams will advance to the global competition in San Francisco.

Red Bull Basement, a global innovation competition, is now accepting applications from aspiring entrepreneurs and students across the U.S. The top 15 teams will compete in the National Final, with the top 3 advancing to the World Final event in San Francisco from June 1-3, 2026. The winners will receive $100,000, $25,000 in Microsoft Azure credits, and mentorship from Red Bull Ventures to help launch their ideas.

The details

The top 65 U.S. ideas will be asked to provide a video, and 15 finalists will be invited to pitch their idea in person at the National Final in Michigan in May. The three winning teams from the National Final will then advance to the World Final in San Francisco, where they will compete against teams from over 40 countries.
