Santa Barbara County Fire crews quickly contained two separate vegetation fires that broke out along Aliso Canyon Road on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, with a combined total of 11 acres burned. The first fire on Friday night burned about 3 acres, while the second fire on Saturday afternoon burned around 8 acres. The causes of both fires remain under investigation.

Crews stopped the forward progress of this fire at 3:27 p.m. and transitioned to mop-up operations.
