Save Mount Diablo is offering 36 more free Discover Diablo guided hikes, themed walks, and outdoor activities in 2026 across Contra Costa, Alameda, Stanislaus, and San Benito counties. The program aims to connect local communities to the natural world of the Mount Diablo area and build awareness about land conservation.

The details
The Discover Diablo outings series includes hikes, mountain biking, rock climbing, meditation, plein air painting, and property tours. New events this year are a Green Ranch rove and a Spanish language hike at Pine Canyon. Continuing popular events include rock climbing, stargazing, medicinal herb walks, condor hikes, and tarantula treks.
