Two people were injured after their vehicle crashed into an embankment and caught fire on southbound Interstate 280 in San Mateo County on Tuesday evening. Crews responded to the scene and found the vehicle ablaze in a wooded area off the roadway, and were able to contain the fire to a quarter-acre area.
