SLO Trolley Extends Free Thursday Service Hours

Expanded hours make it easier for residents and visitors to explore Downtown SLO.

Beginning March 19, the SLO Trolley will extend its free Thursday service hours, operating from 12 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 9:10 p.m. This will make it more convenient for people to explore downtown museums, public art, restaurants, and retailers without needing a car.

The details

The trolley service expansion is sponsored by Know How To Go!, a program of the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG) that provides transportation information for seniors and people with disabilities. In addition to the extended hours, the trolley route will include a new stop near the new Cultural Arts District Parking Garage, providing better access to the west end of downtown.
