San Luis Obispo County sheriff detectives tracked down and arrested a 23-year-old man named Georgian Lovesmith, who is on parole out of San Diego, for stealing approximately $4,000 worth of alcohol from a Vons grocery store in Nipomo earlier this month. Lovesmith removed individual bottles from their boxes, concealed them under his clothing and in a backpack, and returned to the store multiple times to take more alcohol. Detectives found over $10,000 worth of stolen liquor in Lovesmith's vehicle when they arrested him on February 12th.

During his February 2nd theft spree, the suspect removed individual bottles of alcohol from their boxes and concealed them under his clothing and inside a backpack before leaving the Vons store in Nipomo. On February 12th, detectives stopped Lovesmith on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo and found multiple unopened liquor bottles in his vehicle, totaling over $10,000 worth of stolen items.
