Fractal, a global enterprise AI company, has announced the launch of LLM Studio, an enterprise platform that enables businesses to build and run language models tailored to their specific needs. LLM Studio is designed to help organizations create smaller, specialized models for high-value use cases, with features for model selection, customization, evaluation, and life cycle management. The platform leverages NVIDIA's AI infrastructure and software stack, including NeMo and NIM, to provide a standardized approach to deploying and governing models across cloud environments.
Why it matters
As enterprises move beyond one-size-fits-all language models, they need more control over model governance, costs, and performance. LLM Studio addresses this need by empowering businesses to create domain-adapted models that align with their data, context, and requirements, reducing hallucinations and improving reliability. This approach can deliver more cost-effective solutions compared to running larger foundation models.
The details
LLM Studio consists of two key modules: AutoLLM and LLMOps. AutoLLM helps businesses create specialized models for specific tasks or industries, supporting open-source model selection, synthetic data generation, customization, and performance benchmarking. LLMOps manages the full life cycle after a model is created, including deployment, monitoring, and governance. The platform is built on NVIDIA's reference architectures, using NeMo for model development and NIM for model hosting, enabling a standardized approach across cloud environments.
- LLM Studio was announced on March 17, 2026.
- The platform will be demonstrated at NVIDIA GTC 2026, taking place from March 16-19, 2026, in San Jose, California.
The players
Fractal
A publicly listed global enterprise AI company serving Fortune 500® organizations.
NVIDIA
A technology company that specializes in the design and manufacture of graphics processing units (GPUs) and other related technologies.
Pranay Agrawal
Chief Executive Officer of Fractal.
What they’re saying
“Enterprises are past the experimentation phase with generative AI. They need solutions that are governed, cost predictable, and reliable in production. With LLM Studio, we are giving organizations a practical way to build and operate domain-specific language models using open-source options, while taking advantage of NVIDIA AI infrastructure.”
— Pranay Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer, Fractal
What’s next
Fractal plans to use NVIDIA Nemotron open models for the development of LLM Studio.
The takeaway
LLM Studio provides enterprises with a practical solution to build and operate domain-specific language models, enabling them to move beyond one-size-fits-all approaches and leverage open-source options while benefiting from NVIDIA's AI infrastructure. This helps organizations improve model governance, predictability, and reliability for high-value use cases.
