Lovable, a Stockholm-based company that provides a platform for creating websites and apps using natural language, or "vibe coding", has crossed $400 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in February 2026. The three-year-old company has been pushing hard to secure enterprise clients, which already include Klarna, HubSpot, and others. Lovable achieved this milestone with only 146 full-time employees, showcasing an impressive revenue-to-employee ratio.
Why it matters
Lovable's rapid growth and success in attracting enterprise customers highlights the increasing demand for no-code and low-code tools that make it easier for non-technical people to build digital products. The company's ability to achieve such high revenue with a relatively small workforce also demonstrates the potential for highly efficient and scalable business models in the tech industry.
The details
Lovable's debut brand campaign, "Earworm", which began running this week, is aimed at inspiring the next generation of builders - non-technical people with great ideas. More than half of Fortune 500 companies are now using Lovable to "supercharge creativity", according to co-founder and CEO Anton Osika. The company has added a range of dedicated features, often security-related, to convince businesses to use it for more than just prototyping and keep them from canceling over time.
