Illuminate LIVE, a long-running series of free outdoor concerts in Golden Gate Park, is returning for its sixth season. The series will feature more than 125 free, all-ages performances across Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, plus select Saturdays, from March through November 2026. The season kicks off on March 1st as part of SF Music Week, with opening day performers including Lucky Break, Grooblen, and Gloomy June.

The details

The 2026 Illuminate LIVE season will feature more than 125 free concerts at the Golden Gate Bandshell, also known as the Spreckels Temple of Music. Performances will typically be held on Wednesdays (Midweek Melodies), Fridays (Friday Happy Hour), and Sundays (Crucial Reggae Sundays), with select Saturdays and special cultural events also scheduled. In March, the series will spotlight female-fronted acts for International Women's Month.
