Unlearn, an AI company in clinical development, announced it will use data from the CHDI Foundation's Enroll-HD research platform to further refine and update its Huntington's disease-specific Digital Twin Generator (HD DTG). The HD DTG is a machine learning model that generates individualized forecasts of expected disease progression to help improve Huntington's disease clinical trials.

Why it matters

Advancing disease-specific AI modeling for complex neurodegenerative disorders like Huntington's disease requires high-quality, longitudinal clinical data. This collaboration between Unlearn, CHDI Foundation, and Enroll-HD participants aims to accelerate progress in Huntington's disease research and therapeutics development.

The details

Unlearn will train its HD DTG model using data from Enroll-HD, a global clinical research platform for Huntington's disease. The HD DTG generates digital twins, or individualized disease progression forecasts, to reduce variability and strengthen treatment effect estimation in clinical trials. Updates to Unlearn's Huntington's disease model will incorporate the latest available data and scientific understanding of the disease.

  • Unlearn announced the collaboration on February 24, 2026.
