Salt & Straw is introducing a new limited-time ice cream collection for February that draws inspiration from classic chocolate assortments, partnering with several well-known American chocolatiers to translate their confections into frozen form. The Chocolatiers Series will feature five distinct flavors designed to reflect the styles and philosophies of bean-to-bar chocolate makers from across the United States.

Why it matters

Salt & Straw is known for its innovative and creative ice cream flavors, often collaborating with local artisans. This new Chocolatiers Series taps into the growing popularity of craft chocolate and allows the company to showcase the work of renowned chocolatiers in a unique frozen dessert format just in time for Valentine's Day.

The details

The collection was developed by Salt & Straw co-founder Tyler Malek in collaboration with chocolatiers he has worked with and admired over the years. Each flavor reimagines a traditional chocolate or dessert through an ice cream lens, including Chocolate Almond Gold Bar, Cake Batter Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Toasted Buttermilk Torte, Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake, and Cocoa Nib Root Beer Float. Salt & Straw is also debuting a Salted Brownie Waffle Cone made with house-prepared brownie batter.
