The 18th-ranked Oregon State Beavers baseball team defeated the San Diego Toreros 7-5 in the series opener on Friday night. The Beavers hit a season-high four home runs, including back-to-back shots in the first inning by Easton Talt and Josh Proctor. Paul Vazquez and Jacob Krieg also homered for Oregon State, which extended its winning streak to seven games and improved to 12-4 overall on the season.
