The NFL offseason has officially arrived following the conclusion of the NFL Scouting Combine, which saw draft hopefuls both help and hurt their stock. Now it's time to start looking ahead toward free agency, which will have a significant impact on what the Tennessee Titans do in the draft. Titans Wire has released their second seven-round mock draft for the Titans, adding playmakers on offense and defense.
Why it matters
The Titans are looking to build on a successful 2025 season and add more talent to their roster through the draft. This mock draft highlights some of the top prospects the Titans could target to fill key needs on both sides of the ball.
The details
In the first round, the Titans select edge rusher David Bailey from Texas Tech, a player with elite athleticism and explosiveness to pair with defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. In the second round, they add tight end Kenyon Sadiq from Oregon to give the offense a dynamic pass-catching threat. The Titans also address the secondary with cornerback Chris Johnson from San Diego State in the third round and cornerback Julian Neal from Arkansas in the fifth round. Other picks include linebacker Kyle Louis from Pittsburgh and running back Kaytron Allen from Penn State.
- The NFL Scouting Combine concluded recently, setting the stage for the upcoming draft.
The players
David Bailey
An edge rusher from Texas Tech with elite athleticism and explosiveness.
Kenyon Sadiq
A tight end from Oregon with the potential to be a dynamic pass-catching threat.
Chris Johnson
A cornerback from San Diego State with the ability to play both inside and outside.
Kyle Louis
A linebacker from Pittsburgh with versatility and speed that could fit well in the Titans' defense.
Kaytron Allen
A running back from Penn State with good size and vision, though lacking in explosiveness.
What they’re saying
“Bailey is extremely hard for linemen to stay in front of. He moves like a slashing two guard, blending explosiveness and fluidity to slip, bend, and flow around blocks from multiple angles.”
— Lance Zierlein, NFL.com Analyst (NFL.com)
“Sadiq's athleticism and break quickness should allow him to uncover against man coverage on all three levels. He's talented after the catch, with the ability to make things easier for play-callers and quarterbacks looking to move the sticks.”
— Lance Zierlein, NFL.com Analyst (NFL.com)
“Johnson's coverage versatility, toughness, and athleticism should make him an early starter for a coverage-hungry team inside the 20.”
— Lance Zierlein, NFL.com Analyst (NFL.com)
What’s next
The Titans will continue to evaluate their roster and free agency needs before making their selections in the upcoming NFL Draft.
The takeaway
This Titans Wire mock draft highlights the team's focus on adding playmakers on both offense and defense through the draft. The selections of Bailey, Sadiq, and Johnson in particular address key needs and provide the Titans with young, talented players to build around for the future.
