Pacific Beach Kiwanians honor three fifth graders

Students recognized for leadership and being role models to peers

The Pacific Beach Kiwanis Club has honored three fifth grade students from local schools as part of its 'Student of the Month' recognition program for the 2025-26 school year. The honorees were Harper Eaves from Crown Point Junior Music Academy, Leona Khalifa from Pacific Beach Elementary, and Isabelle Smith from Kate Sessions Elementary.

The details

Each of the three students received a certificate and $25 in 'Mr. Frostie' dollars, which were donated by a local business. The club also hosted the students, their families, and teachers for a special breakfast. The students were nominated by their teachers for exhibiting strong leadership skills and being good role models to their peers.
