The city of San Diego has activated its inclement weather shelter program in anticipation of a heavy winter storm, opening up several shelters to provide refuge for those experiencing homelessness. The shelters, operated through a partnership between the San Diego Housing Commission, the city, Father Joe's Villages, and Living Water Church of the Nazarene, will be open on Monday evening with capacity for over 100 adults and additional space for families with children.
