San Diego has renamed a stretch of downtown roadway to Midway Place, honoring the USS Midway Museum. The newly designated Midway Place connects Pacific Highway and Harbor Drive, leading directly to the aircraft carrier museum along the Embarcadero. City leaders, museum staff, supporters, and the museum's official mascot gathered for the unveiling ceremony outside the USS Midway.
