Michelle's Place Cancer Resource Center is proud to announce the opening of its 2026 Educational Scholarship Program, offering eight (8) scholarships to individuals whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Applications will be accepted beginning January 15, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 15, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be announced on June 15, 2026.

The details
The eight scholarships available in 2026 are the Barbara Bryan Matzkin Scholarship ($1,000), Bill Cathey Scholarship ($1,000), two Michelle's Place Scholarships ($1,000 each), Nimmo-Duncan-Bennett Scholarship ($1,000), Patricia Deroeux Scholarship ($2,000), Shanen Skinner-Pearson Spirit of Life Scholarship ($1,000), and Team Charlotte Ovarian Cancer Awareness Scholarship ($2,000). Applications are reviewed by a dedicated committee of community volunteers to ensure alignment with the mission of Michelle's Place.
