Porrino embarked on a 16-year journey to bring this Ranchero to life, starting with a $900 purchase of a severely rotted frame. He then seamlessly integrated elements from the Ranchero, Thunderbird, and Mustang, creating a unique and eye-catching design with mini-truck, custom, and lowrider influences. The engine swap to a 200ci inline-six from a 1966 Mustang added power without compromising the car's focus on style. Porrino's attention to detail is remarkable, as he meticulously moved and welded body panels, incorporated personal touches like a 1957 Fairlane hood ornament, and created a stunning custom aqua base coat with fades and House of Kolor transparent teal candy.
