Nevada City School of the Arts (NCSA) has announced the launch of its new Independent Study at Home Program, created to support families seeking a flexible, creative, and community-centered educational option for their students. The program offers enriching academic instruction alongside visual arts, music, movement, and hands-on, project-based learning, designed to complement home education.

The details
The program will offer 24 spots for students in grades K–3 and 24 spots for students in grades 4–8. Enrollment in the Homeschool Program is separate from NCSA's main program. Enrollment for the Independent Study at Home Program and the Classroom-Based program is now open, with a lottery deadline of Monday, March 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM and a lottery date of Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
