Murrieta to Host Spring Eggstravaganza and Recreation Expo

The City of Murrieta is inviting the community to its annual Spring Eggstravaganza and Recreation Expo on April 4th at Town Square Park and Amphitheater. The free, family-friendly event will feature an egg hunt with over 12,000 eggs, interactive vendors, prize giveaways, live music, and the chance to explore the city's community programs and classes.

The Spring Eggstravaganza is a longstanding tradition in Murrieta, bringing the community together each year to celebrate the arrival of spring. The event also serves as an opportunity for the city's Community Services Department to showcase its offerings and encourage residents to get involved in local programs and activities.

The details

The egg hunt will be divided into age groups, with separate times for 2 and under/special needs, 3 years, 4 years, and so on up to 10 years old. Parents will be allowed in the main egg hunt area, and a special 2 and under/special needs area will be open from 9:30-10:45 a.m. In addition to the egg hunt, the event will feature live music, interactive vendor booths, prize giveaways, and the chance to learn about the city's community programs and classes.

• The egg hunt times are as follows: 2 and Younger and Special Needs Area – 9:30-10:45 a.m., 3 Years – 9:30 a.m., 4 Years – 9:45 a.m., 5 Years – 10:00 a.m., 6 Years – 10:15 a.m., 7-8 Years – 10:30 a.m., 9-10 Years – 10:45 a.m.
