Costco is preparing to open its first standalone gas station in Mission Viejo, California this summer. The new 17,000-square-foot facility will have 40 fueling stations, making it the largest gas station in Costco's network. The standalone gas station was built after the demolition of a shuttered Bed, Bath & Beyond store at the Mission Viejo Freeway Center.
