A new data center joint venture in Los Angeles will bring critically needed, high-density digital infrastructure to power the region's growing cloud, AI, and enterprise tech demands.Los Angeles TodayDallas-based DataBank has formed a joint venture with Goodman Group to launch a new 32MW data center in the Los Angeles suburb of Vernon. The site is slated to open in December with the first 6MW available, and the remaining 26MW coming online in stages through September 2027. The joint venture plans to expand the partnership by developing additional data center sites in capacity-constrained markets across the U.S.

The details
The new data center site was acquired by Goodman in 2023, with the company securing power, planning, and entitlements. Goodman will complete the development, while DataBank will operate the facility as part of its platform of over 70 data centers and interconnection sites across the U.S. The joint venture combines Goodman's development expertise with DataBank's proven operational excellence and relationships with over 2,500 enterprise customers.
