The USC men's basketball team has landed a commitment from five-star 2026 recruit Christian Collins, a local product from St. John Bosco High School in Southern California. Collins is ranked as the No. 5 overall player in the class of 2026 by Rivals and chose the Trojans over Kentucky and Louisville.
Why it matters
Despite a disappointing 2025-2026 season that saw the Trojans miss the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year, USC is continuing to recruit at a high level, landing another top-5 prospect in the 2026 class. If the Trojans can also bring back some of their top players from this past season, they could be in line for a major turnaround in 2026-2027.
