Los Angeles Renames Intersection After Iconic Rapper Nipsey Hussle

The City of Los Angeles officially renamed the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue in South LA as Nipsey Hussle Square on Saturday. The ceremony was attended by LA City Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson, Councilwoman Heather Hutt, and California State Assemblyman Isaac Bryan. Nipsey Hussle's older brother, Blacc Sam, gave an emotional speech, saying the intersection was where Hussle used to sell his mixtapes out of the trunk of his car and that the area meant everything to him.
